LOL... [30 Oct 2007|09:18am] So I just saw this chick I used to go to high school with...and sadly nothing has changed with her. She was just up on her phone chatting away about something mindless. I didn't realize it was her until I passed by. This same person who had the audacity to make fun of somebody is still seemingly stuck in the past. I mean, you'd think that she'd be different now but no, still the same nerdy person i knew who thought it was funny to make fun of someone else and who knew they messed up big time the first time she saw me on campus three years ago by just staring as if it was going to be some drama. You maybe able to hide out for a little while amongst 27,000 people but there will be a day that you won't be able to hide from me. I wish her continued success but it's so funny to see that things haven't changed a bit. see the waves?

Provoked: A True Story [01 Jul 2007|04:36pm] "Provoked: A True Story" on Google Video Provoked is the true story of Kiranjit Ahluwalia, a Punjabi woman who moved to London after her marriage with Deepak Ahluwalia. Her husband seemed caring at first but then began to beat her up. He started drinking a lot and sleeping around with other women. he also subjected her to spousal rape. After ten years and having two children with him, out of fear, she sets him on fire while he is sleeping, two hours after another scene of domestic violence. He succumbs to the injuries ans she is sentenced to prison for life for premeditated murder. However the Southall Black Sisters, an NGO which fights against domestic violence helps her get justice. And after spending 3 1/2 years in jail, she is set free and reunited with her two children. I highly recomment you watch this...It's very good :) see the waves?
